The Middlebury Bike Club was formed in the fall of 1999 to promote bicycling in the Champlain Valley and the Central Green Mountains of Vermont. We are a chapter of the Vermont Mountain Bike Association.
Middlebury is the shire town of Addison County, Vermont. Middlebury is also home to Middlebury College which adds to the high percentage of cyclists in this area. The Middlebury Bike club involves all disciplines from tricycles for the young and old to road, cross, BMX, mountain bikes, unicycles, freak bikes, tandems, utility and commuter bikes.
Middlebury Bike Club members perform extensive community service through bike rodeos, trail maintenance, kids' bike rides, and other activities. We encourage everyone to ride their bikes as much as possible!
